The story of the Harley Davidson motorcycle company… This was a highly successful 3 part television mini-series. It was Discovery Channel’s first ever drama series. The whole series was shot in and around Bucharest, Romania over 4 months. As you probably know, Harley Davidson was created in Milwaukee… but we shot the series in Bucharest… So the main challenge for me was to erase everything “Bucharest”, and replace it with 1920’s to 1940’s Milwaukee !… The scene with the most visual effects though ,was the Motordrome race were we had to add crowds and enhance the stadium with additionnal grandstands… Once again, I hired Oblique FX to create all of the 300 + visual effects for this mini series… below is Oblique’s “making of” of this project.
